Rude and unhelpful staff, dont deserve to be in such a business that relies on professionalism and care. Wouldnt use again, if it wasnt for the elderly locals needing to get prescriptions Id wish they went out of business.

Horrible experience. Went to collect a prescription that was on the NHS spine. One of the ladies there was lovely, and the other was incredibly rude. She told me that it would take between 45 minutes and an hour to process the prescription, and that I'd need to come back. As it had taken the woman so long to work out what she needed to do, I didn't have much faith in her so I asked if she could call me when it was ready as I'd already left work once to collect it and didn't want another wasted trip. She said that they couldn't possibly call me because they were so busy and the male pharmacist chirped in to agree with here. There was one woman in there buying Ibuprofen. I told them that I didn't expect it to be such an inconvenice to the two of them that I'd come to get a prescription from a pharmacy and that I'd go elsewhere. She slung the piece of paper at me. I'm absolutely shocked that this place still has any customers. I dread to think what would happen if an elderly or frail person went in and experienced the same.

Rude pharmacist, disgraceful customer service. Such a shame for a village chemist to be so bad, when many rely heavily especially those who cannot travel further & many elderly people within the village. The Pharmacist is utterly rude. Regularly late for opening, I waited this morning for it to open at 0900 - when the pharmacist turned up at 0902 he went in & opened a few minutes later (it rarely has staff in ready to open on time). Rather than burden the doctor I thought a pharmacist may be able to help. He shouted for me to go away for another 15 minutes because he wasn't ready & had to turn his computers on - whilst rolling his eyes & huffing. I assume the till and computers should be running by 0900! On another occassion - he has point blank refused to give my husband my prescription because it was sent by the doctor the same day (it was urgent & I was told to take immediately) and he didn't have time. On a more worrying occassion I took a friends child into the chemist as the child was burnt in the cafe next door by a falling cup of coffee - he screamed go to a doctor i don't treat children, then carried on gossiping to his friend. His staff are terrified of him. I am not sure if anyone regulates these pharamcists, seems rather worrying. He is in the wrong job!

Truly disappointed with my experience with the pharmacist, he showed zero sympathy or interest, and was just incredibly difficult, I don't think I've ever had a conversation with a healthcare professional where I've had to work so hard. I would have put it down to a bad day but going by the other reviews here this sadly doesn't seem to be the case. Genuinely surprised by his lack of care.
