We found this wonderful little nursery today. A real find! We will definitely be returning with money and a car to buy delphiniums- their speciality.

Update 2022-05-24 : They've just exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show for the first time and got a Gold. Congratulations This specialist delphinium growing nursery has existed for about 13 years in my own village of Bovingdon and I wasn't aware of its existence until about 2 weeks ago. As Google Maps had also missed it, I have created this Maps entry and many photos in the lovely summer sunshine. According to the owner, he is one of only two delphinium growers nurseries in the country. Though a small concern, they exhibit at some famous garden shows and supply one of the Royal households. I was impressed. The entrance to the venue is not at all obvious, but a sign or two near the farm entrance help point the way (see my photos) of said signage and their positions. The owner is very friendly and obviously knowledgeable being a real nurseryman, not a garden centre helper. The nursery itself is very neat and well kept, pretty even; again see my photo evidence. The prices of the delphiniums were quite reasonable I though considering they are not the run of the mill ones you will find in the average garden centre. They do sell many other plants, not just delphiniums, and they to looked in good fettle. I was most impressed with my first visit. One thing to note is the limited days they open to the general public and then only from April through October, which Google Maps opening hours can't cope with. There was an excellent visit by BBC's Gardener's World last night (2020-05-22). Please LIKE with a if you found this review helpful, thank you.
