Its a great place to learn traditional hand sewn custom made curtains and soft furnishing. Victoria is a skilled teacher with years of hands on practice . Her delivery is calm , intentional and professional. I love learning here and I will recommend her over and over again.

I cannot rate this course highly enough. It was such a privilege to learn such a beautiful and traditional skill in the most professional and creative environment. Victoria is an extremely skilled teacher. Being a complete beginner at sewing i was nervous that I wouldnt be able to keep up but through thorough demonstrations and practise with amazing guidance and patience I managed to accomplish more than I ever thought possible. I walked away on the final day knowing that my life was going to change and with the confidence of a completely new skill under my belt. Missing the wonderfully inspiring setting already and cant wait to return in May for Course TWO and THREE. After the last week I really feel like the skys the limit! Thank you again!

I cannot recommend the courses enough. I had been considering further training as I had already been making some soft furnishings, and I am so glad I chose this one! Even if you have previous experience, Victoria has such a wealth of knowledge, tools and techniques that expand your skills and confidence. You can't beat the hands-on workshops in a creative, inspiring environment. Meeting some likeminded passionate sewers was such a bonus - exchanging ideas and experiences. I know I will be using my new found skills for years to come.

Thank you Victoria! I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day cushion making course in such a lovely venue. Thank you also for being so patient and helpful. Three quality cushions, all showing us different methods. Loved it.

Having completed Course 1 with Victoria I can absolutely recommend it! The teaching and content was excellent, and delivered very professionally by Victoria. There is a lot of detail on all aspects of not only the process of making the curtains and blinds but also the business aspects as well. Being just after the lockdown restrictions were eased Victoria had done everything to ensure that everyone felt safe and comfortable in the workroom and all the social distancing was adhered to. It was very well thought out to ensure we all had our own space and tools/equipment for the week. I am looking forward to returning and completing a course not in a heatwave!!
