Staff are extremely rude and shouted at customer for not wearing a face mask. They didnt get my business and should be avoided. Plenty of decent businesses in the area who are happy to treat customers correctly

My fiance and I were discriminated against by the guy serving ice cream at the stall outside. We went to order ice cream and before we even got near the queue, he came at us aggressively ordering us to put masks on, despite us being exempt, which we told him politely. He asked for proof, even though it's none of his business, and when we told him we don't have proof, he got sarcastic with us and completely refused to serve us. All a bit over the top considering the stall was outdoors anyway, we followed all of the other rules, and we were never once rude to him. I'd be interested to see what the law says about explicitly discriminating against customers on medical grounds. Would he treat a customer in a wheelchair the same? Or even an older person with no mask? It's absurd that an ice cream server thinks he can probe someone for medical records, especially in such a rude manner. Anyway, we went to another place along the road, which was essentially the same set up with ice cream being served outside, and we were served with no hassle at all, and the ice cream was great.

Didnt make it to ordering anything, spend your money somewhere else with manners, was ordered to get back and keep 2 metres or we will be shut down. At this point I had a mask on due to COVID and was nowhere near the person in front. Markings on the floor in chalk barely visible after a busy day of people standing on them, everyone else was a similar width apart yet I was picked out and then she unloaded her obvious aggression on me which left me abit confused so I walked off and visited another tea room with correct markings on the floor and polite staff, Id give 0 stars if I could. Not one to write reviews but Im still annoyed a day later.
