Bourton Croft Cottage

We had an amazing time at the Cotswolds. Lots of people roaming around so it doesn't feel like a dead town. I was surprised to find a cinema and a bird zoo. We spent 5 days here and was more than enough to tour the town. On our return I discovered the residential areas where you can find shopping areas and popular mainstream stores. I'll definitely visit again but this time I'll venture to the outskirts.

We stayed here at the weekend for a friends special celebration and it was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect and literally in the centre of Bourton on the Water with easy access to everything. We were lucky enough to park right outside the cottage and Christina has made the cottage so homely with everything you could wish for. The cotton bedding was incredible, so soft and everything so clean and beautifully presented. On arrival the cottage was supplied with a delicious homemade sourdough loaf, blackcurrant jam, eggs, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, condiments, towels, logs for the fire, etc etc. Couldn't fault it. Thank you - we had a lovely relaxing time staying here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect location for the most perfect cottage coupled with perfect weather and ambiance of Bourton on the Water made our Bourton Croft Cottage stay an experience to remember forever! The cottage garden is practically perfect in every way and we sat out on the most clement of evenings enjoying good food wine and company. The hostess store cupboard was an added treat with Mrs Billings jam complimenting her freshly baked batch loaf...just wish there was jams for purchase! The beds were like marshmallows clouds and enveloped and embraced one into a restful sleep. The hotel is perfectly situated in the town centre and i recommend walks along the River Windrush 'away from the madding crowds' who swamp every inch of the Little Venice Green! So peaceful in the evenings we enjoyed midnight walks and cava nights! Our break was taken post lockdown yet during the Covid pandemic and this cottage was spotless with appropriate measures to help make one forget ones troubles and enjoy a fabulous staycation. We are most definitely returning to the bountiful comforts of Bourton Croft our favoutite Cotswold retreat.

Gezellige eettafel. Veel ramen. Langwerpig huis. Nammidag veel toeristen. Ik raad het aan.
