The training is ok but unfortunately the company is very unorganised which results in wasted trips and wasted time. Turned up twice to find the training session had been cancelled and not been notified. Cancelled with 45mins notice on another occasion. Trained in the dark for a few weeks because lighting was going to be sorted but never was. We also found that where you can join the junior gun dog group sessions at any point there were a lot of different levels in a class and so progression is slow where you are going over the same things for the newcomers. Paid for a block of lessons but wasnt able to complete them all, as the last time I turned up to an empty field both Andy and Jess didnt answer their phones and after 2 weeks neither have got back to the messages I left them. Ive given up on them now and found a more reliable trainer.

Gave some great advise for my working cocker spaniel as well as a great dummy that he now loves using instead of a tennis ball. Highly recommend.

Fabulous trainers. Very supportive and generous with their time.

We have an 18 month old Cocker Spaniel called Benjie who is very scent driven and consequently pulls like a train towards every potential sniff. His recall is iffy to say the least if there are other dogs, attractions or special sniffs. We contacted Andy and arranged for a 1 to 1 whilst we were staying in our caravan in the Cotswolds, we have had so much conflicting advice from other trainers, books and owners of other dogs, Andy has a good manner with dogs and unsure owners us! Benjie responded so well to Andys gentle but firm methodology and we were really surprised at the improvement shown during our session. This improvement did not diminish when we tried it on our own in an enclosed field where we are staying, still work in progress but at least now we have authoritative and easy to understand instructions and have something to build on. We are due to return to the Cotswolds during June and August and hope to arrange top up lessons with Andy to fine tune our progress. I recommend Andy, he is an excellent trainer.
