My family has used this practice for years however a recent experience has really soured our feelings about this clinic. We had to have our cat put down and whilst crying were asked about cremation or burial. We chose cremation without thinking and that was that. A few weeks later we get a bill for over 400. This was a very nasty shock as no price had been mentioned during the visit and when we had our (much larger) dog put down a year ago it was only 200. Thankfully we were able to afford this and could collect our cats ashes but I can't help but think about the people who wouldn't have been able to pay such a large amount with no warning. All in all we can't help but feel somewhat taken advantage of during a very emotional time. The only reason I can think that the price would rise so dramatically is that this clinic used to be owned by an individual, and was recently bought by a company as part of a chain. It is unlikely that we will be back after this experience.

Been with Aniwell Vets for some years now, all our pets have been looked after there, would not consider going anywhere else.
