Always a pleasure dealing with Tom, whom I have used for a numbers of years for different jobs, including annual boiler servicing. He managed to keep an old boiler going before installing a lovely new boiler when it finally gave up! Today's visit was the annual boiler service. I would recommend Tom and have done to family and friends. Thanks Tom!

UPDATE : photos to support my 1* review. To reiterate, I was NOT offered recoating. Shame that I feel compelled to leave this review, especially having been a repeat customer of Tom Rowsell Plumbing. I expected better and fairer, afterall, their website states : "All Our Work Is Guaranteed" and ; "We guarantee you'll be happy with the work we complete for you", under the heading "Why Choose Us?". Tom fitted a new shower for me. He sourced and purchased it from HIS supplier. I am (was!) HIS customer. I chose a white non-slip shower tray which is stippled. I showed Tom the tray shortly after moving into my flat and he stated, quote "it looks like the resin has come through", as my brand new white tray is covered in black bits, where the surface appears to have come off and is continuing to degrade. All Tom suggested was that I get an enamel spray!!! Not what you expect to be told when you purchase a brand new shower tray. I was left to ask HIS supplier to send a Rep out with Tom involved as he was required to complete the intallation details on the complaint paperwork to be sent to the manufacturer. No Rep has attended. I messaged the wife of the business as she seems to deal with the office side and her reply was nothing short of unprofessional and certainly NOT guaranteeing their work as per their website. In fact she told me to go to the manufacturer directly or if I'm not happy, to escalate it within Tom's supplier's business!! This is NOT something I should have to do when Tom Rowsell Plumbing states that they guarantee their work. It is not up to the customer to go right up the supply chain. She also made a callous personal comment as I had just lost my Dad. She messaged me stating, quote "unfortunately we cannot get involved on this occasion", yet I paid Tom Rowsell Plumbing to do a job which his website CLAIMS is guaranteed yet the wife has refused to resolve the problem. I now cannot and will not recommend Tom Rowsell Plumbing and I am left with a shower tray which looks an absolute mess and certainly not brand new. IN RESPONSE I was NOT offered re-coating, I was given the link to an enamel spray. Your response was dishonest. In fact, had I been offered re-coating I would have accepted it. I even have the Wattsapp PROOF that all I was "offered" was a link to buy the enamel spray online and do it myself. To make such a dishonest statement here on Google reviews puts your business in an even worse light. In fact I even have the proof that I was not looking for a replacement shower tray but would have been happy with a repair. I was offered a replacement showertray by the manufacturer but NOT the cost to re-do the works which would have not only entailed removing the shower screen to get to the tray but also the panelling which let's not forget I was forced to have because YOUR subcontractor made an absolute hash of the tiling and grouting which Tom actually admitted to so much so the wife told me the subby wouldn't get paid. The tiles had to be stripped off the wall which made such a mess, panelling was suggested as a "cover up". Whether condolences on the loss of my father was given or not does not excuse the heartless comment the wife wrote to me last week. If you are going to try and "justify" my honest review then at least be honest about what was offered. To reiterate, a replacement tray but cost of all the works to remove the old one, replacement of any damaged materials and replacing with new tray to be met by me, the customer and you were remiss in adding that the manufacturer/supplier has such little confidence in the non-slip tray that they suggested I have it replaced with a smooth (highly slippery when wet) tray. My 1* review stands and in fact as your reply has been extremely economical with the truth, I would give 0 stars if I could. Your Wattsapps last week were no way to speak to a customer telling me you didn't understand why I wouldn't just go to the manufacturer myself. Not the GUARANTEED work your website proclaims. Talked to a number of Bournemouth and Dorset based companies about installing a Worcester Bosch 8000 combi boiler in an airing cupboard for a first floor flat. The job required decommissioning the old gas boiler, which was in a different room, as well as water cylinder and all related pipework before could even start, then fitting a flue through 2 walls. Not an easy job. Lovely people, fantastic job finished on time and budget all with smiles and professionalism. Can't recommend highly enough, my partners comment - "that pipework looks like a work of art of the London tube map" - I think sums it up perfectly. True artists at what they do, top quality work with attention for detail and cleanliness in tidying up to boot - faultless! Services: Shower installation, Water heater installation
