Southbourne Boots must have, correction, HAS the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy. They never have my repeat prescription ready and always blame the GP surgery-as happened today! They never treat us like patients and really do not seem to care at all. They have notices all around the pharmacy about the need to be kind to them (what about being kind to us???) and not to verbally abuse them. Believe me, my blood pressure rose significantly today when I hit the usual brick wall with the older lady who attempts to "serve" us. I went to the GP who told me it is Boots who has to request my repeat prescription which had not happened, not the other way round. Needless to say I never intend to depend on Boots again. Avoid at all costs.

Pharmacist had no idea how to install a new cartridge in an insulin pen. Kept saying it is pre filled pen which it wasn't!! Came home and figured out myself, it wasnt a prefilled pen ! They need to get a proper Pharmacist who knows their job !

The Staff are always helpful and polite. The Store needs a other telephone just for medication queries and more Staff to answer the telephone as it just rings and rings and then cuts out.

Awful.Unfortunately they have the monopoly on prescriptions in southbourne so no choice but to use them. Opening hours are wrong online, you can book a vaccine online when the store is closed, which is ridiculous. Had to then rebook, to turn up at my time and be told they can't do it as the locum pharmacist can't do it, even though he was standing right there. So now need to try get my money back online through the booking system. The staff are usual exceptionally rude, however they seem to have got rid of the old female manager and her sidekick so that's one plus side. It's still difficult to queue as there is two queues right next to each other, and people tend to get confused and cut in front. If you can, use somewhere different, but like I said if you live in southbourne you are stuck! Unless you go over to boscombe or tuckton
