Had a great drop in session at Ippon's intermediate BJJ class. The owner and coaches were super friendly and relaxed, and the location was easy to find for an international visitor like me. Wish I could have stayed for the advanced class and open mat but maybe next visit

I joined Ippon's beginner Muay Thai class in July 2021, having had no combat sport experience. After 8 weeks of beginner classes, I became a member and going to the Muay Thai classes has become the highlight of my week. The coaches, Sal, Bernie, Harry and Lewis are all friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable in their sport, having all been professional fighters and title holder's. The other members are supportive and welcoming and you'll learn just as much from the experienced fighters as you do from the coaches. The classes are structured, and focused around a different theme each month, and have you burning upwards of 1000 calories each session. Outside of the classes, there's opportunities to do Thai style cardio sessions, PT sessions and attend interclubs. Ultimately, if you want to learn or improve, you need good teachers and the instruction you'll receive at Ippon is the best you'll find in Bournemouth!
