Called about my current faulty dishwasher to look at getting the appliance fixed. Zest offer 2 options for service, a monthly payment and a 1 off payment. I was encouraged by George in the sales team to go with the 1 off payment after explaining the fault and make and model of my dishwasher. Therefore did so.
When the engineer came to service my dishwasher he immediately pointed out that there was nothing to be done as this was a make and model that had gone bust and impossible to get replacement parts. Unfortunately, with the 1 off payment you are only entitled to a portion refund if there is no fix unlike the monthly option that I was discouraged to needing.
It then took Zest 5 weeks to return our calls and emails (twice being told that we would get a call back the next day, that never happened). It is now 6 weeks later and only just getting the partial refund. Even after the recommendation from George saying on the phone to me originally that is a well brand and therefore most likely to get fixed).
I have now gone with a competitor to buy a new dishwasher.
Catherine was lovely (and the only reason this is not a 1 star review) in customer service when we eventually could get through, unfortunately her boss does not share her level and understanding of customer service and refused to speak with me or acknowledge any wrongdoing.
Prices here are not competitive enough to justify the poor service!
