We turned to HLF Planning after meeting with several architects to discuss what we thought would be a relatively simple, single storey bungalow extension. The architects did their utmost to overcomplicate things, insisted on applying for full planning permission and presented us with some hefty quotes for their proposed services. As we already had a clear idea of the design we wanted, a builder friend recommended we forget the architects and go straight to an experienced planning consultant instead. HLF Planning quickly reassured us that our project would come under permitted development rights. David put together a simple, well reasoned planning statement along with the floor plans and elevations that were necessary for the application. We ended up receiving our permitted development certificate from Bournemouth council with minimal fuss and expense.
