Recently I had to employ the services of Peter Castle of Charminster Computer Repairs to assist me in resolving my notebook/printer issues, for unknown reasons the printer would not print when print was selected on my computer. After connecting remotely to my computer it took Peter under two hours to locate the cause of the problem and resolve all of the issues Peter provides a very professional service and is well versed and knowledgeable in computer sciences, I would have no hesitation in recommending him should you have problems with your computer and are pulling your hair out trying to figure out why it will not operate as it should.

I can highly recommend this company and the engineer Peter Castle for working through the problems of an old laptop that had not been backed up, had poor anti-virus and malware protection, resulting in a build up of problems due to neglect. It was supposed to take 4 hours, but it took 9! This was because I had failed to act earlier by having an engineer review the poor response, but just cut the power and restarted every time. Unsurprisingly, this does not help. You may have to pay for extra hours initially if you have not valued your technology but it will be worth every penny to be able to get better performance going forward. Peter installed programs to use on a weekly basis and explained what they did and the order they should be performed in so that you take ownership of maintaining your technology. This is also another sign of trustworthiness because he did not try to get me to agree to a regular maintenance plan which maybe a way other companies retain clients. I am looking forward to using my laptop now instead of sitting there pulling my hair out watching for a response. The hourly rate was fair. Considering the number of problems identified, I think the final bill will be reasonable. It will certainly be a lesson in budgeting for unexpected costs due to ignorance on my part! If the new apps installed are good enough for a professional to use, then they must be good for a novice to use. I received an education about the cause of the problem and what action I need to take to prevent it occurring again. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is currently working from home under the present restrictions and who needs their PC or laptop reviewing as a matter of urgency.
