Charming cafe with great coffee and lovely cakes, made by the owner. Friendly staff and sunny garden tables out the back make it a very pleasant place to sit and relax.

26/04/23 - update. Still not been contacted by anyone at Eighty-Three let alone the manager/owner regarding my review extremely poor customer service! I went in here today as I had a business meeting with a web designer. I always visit the independent coffee shops as you get better service but not on this instance! The young lad serving me accidentally poured my mocha over my coat, jeans and trainers to which I laughed it off. Accidents happen and were only human! I subsequently had to get my coat dry cleaned as its duck down and got leather on it. The bill was 65 and I thought it only right that the coffee shop should pay or contribute towards the cost as it happened in their shop. I went back to the coffee shop and said exactly that in a nice and polite way. The lady behind the counter replied instantly saying that they dont pay towards these costs and she shied away beyond the till. Shocking customer service seeing as it was a member of their staff who poured my mocha over me! Ill not be returning here again and will be telling all of my friends in Westbourne to do the same. Not a happy customer and utterly disgusted by their lack of customer service! 1/10
