Lovely pub, always a good choice of ale. Good value for money. Lovely food and freshly cooked. Brilliant staff always willing to help.

Neil Bothwell
Great town centre pub offering a good selection of real ales and recently recognised by CAMRA! They also offer a good food menu which has a good specials board which changes on a regular basis. The food is all home cooked and fresh. Prices are very reasonable and it competes well with places like the local Wetherspoons. The bar and water ting staff are polite and friendly. They also put on regular life music and band nights as well as other entertainment such as comedy nights etc. Well worth a visit.
