Place is covered in excrements and urine, especially handrails and floor. High risk residents wondering around half naked with no walking aids as per their care plan, incontinence pads get checked and changed rearly if at all, repositioning is non existent. Diabetic patients are being given sweets in order to, quote: ' keep them quiet and compliant', shortage of basic PPE outstanding... Nurses and carers have no interest in having a detailed handover at the beginning/end of shift, new members aren't being shown around the unit or introduced to health and safety procedures. Nurses and carers have no idea if they are administering the right drug to the right patient and admitted that this is a normal practice in this unit. Some members of staff can't be bothered to wear their uniform let alone PPE when dealing with excrements and food... All patients are given exactly the same food, allergies and possible product intolerances are not taken into consideration, food preparation facilities, specifically one of the kitchens, is hotter than a green house in midst of July temperature is/was around 32 degrees on a Celsius scale and this list could go on and on. I sincerely hope that so called managers, nurses and carers will end up in a similar establishment at the end of their days.

Staff are friendly. The clients room always has debris on the floor and today it was food that resident had messed the day before. Flowers dead for days until I threw them out and tried to wash the vase. The resident has spilled a lot of tea over themselves and I had to call for help. She must have been freezing. Not great.

No set visiting times staff fairly friendly but not enough of them as it can take quite a while when the bell has been rung before anyone arrives
