Unique Births Gentle Beginnings postnatal class is the perfect mix of relaxed, open, non judgmental conversation, for both birth mums and partners, whilst also being extremely informative and a lifeline for many of us.

The Gentle Beginnings group has been a genuine blessing to me. It is so inclusive, fun and parent led which is so helpful. It pulled me out of the fourth trimester trenches, gave me a cuddle and some tea and brownie. I coped with early motherhood so much better with the group support and I will be forever grateful. Myself and my husband signed up for Unique Births antenatal classes last year before the birth of our first baby. Claire came to our home to deliver the course 1 to 1 as well as Isobel for a session on feeding. I cannot thank them both enough for the knowledge and experience they passed on during the course. It was informative, honest, open and they were both so supportive. Nothing was ever too much to ask, they were both there for support outside of the classes and beyond birth. I went into labour feeling I had learnt everything needed for a positive birth, whichever way it panned out. I was lucky to have a straight forward, non medicated water birth and I honestly believe this was down to the classes. Thank you x

After our local NCT was fully booked, I felt extremely lucky to find a small local class with Claire. The class was very informative and focussed on positive births. We covered a wide range of topics, that we, as the members chose and it was easy to ask as many questions as you liked, being such a small group. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Claire, bring on the arrival of our little one!

I was really pleased to find a small, local Antenatal class to take part in as I was keen not to end up as part of a larger group so as not to feel I couldnt ask as many questions as possible. Having done a birth plan before I attended classes due to the sessions being quite close to my due date, I was so thankful to have chosen Unique Births as I really felt Claire showed us all the options available to us. I added significantly more detail to birth plan after the course had finished and I really feel that, as a result, I felt completely in control of all elements of my birth, even when we decided to go for an elective c section 48 hours before our 42 week mark. It felt like we were nurtured through the classes rather than taught and we felt we came out of the course ready to have a baby! Claire is so friendly, patient and willing to help and we enjoyed the practical, interactive sessions, as well as some well needed post natal love. We genuinely believe without this course we would have experienced birth trauma, so thank you Claire for supplying us with the knowledge to avoid it!!
