Silver Gate Vets - At Home Euthanasia & Cremation Service

I would absolutely recommend Silver Gate Vets if its time to say goodbye to your pet. Whilst this is a stressful and upsetting situation, we were put at ease with full a explanation of what would and might happen. Our pet was able to go to sleep in the most stress free and dignified way possible in a very gentle and respectful way. Can't thank them enough.

Having made the hardest decision that our dog Stanley couldnt go on no more after declining health and a seizure we Messaged Silver gate late bank holiday Monday asking for a call the following day Ollie gave us a call after a couple of hours which we didnt expect as it was a bank holiday We arranged a visit the following day,sadly Stanley declined overnight with further seizures and Ollie came first thing after I updated him and changed his plans so Stanley didnt suffer anymore. Ollie explained all of the procedure and made the most horrible experience that much better for us both. Yes its his job but he cares and cant speak highly enough of the service we received Thanks for such a professional service in difficult times

We had our best friend, our dog, put to sleep on Saturday. It was the most difficult thing Ive had to go through, and although I didnt want her to go, I knew that it wasnt fair on her and that she was not in a good shape, so it was the best thing for her. Oli came over to ours where she was most comfortable and had such a calm manner to him, that she felt comfortable around him. Not only that, but he was very considerate towards us, and didnt go ahead with anything unless we were ready and had said our final goodbyes. It was tough, but we knew she was in good hands with him and that made it a little bit easier.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

We had our beloved dog put to sleep at home. We decided this way so he would feel calm surrounded by his familiar sounds & smells. Oli was so kind & Joe was put to sleep with dignity.
