The owner was very hospitable. One of the ladies (Sydney) made us feel so welcome. She was very attentive excellent service from Sydney. Asset to this place. Highly recommended All the staff were excellent made are stay memorable Rooms: Very clean comfortable rooms

Just spent a memorable family weekend at The White Horse celebrating my amazing parents 70Th wedding anniversary. We took rooms overnight which were beautifully appointed and very comfortable and luxurious. The courtyard room worked particularly very well for my elderly parents needs (wet room, easy parking access and close to the bar!). The bar area was equally comfortable and well stocked. The star of our stay was our lovely meal which was beautifully executed but also delivered with discreet but warm service. The Monkfish tail was a triumph with my Mum who is an excellent cook and finds eating out a trial. All in all I cant be happier with our stay and feel in particular this would be a lovely bolt-hole if you wanted a stress-free weekend away from it all with great food and good service.
