Firewood - Newman Farms

Placed a order for 2 cubic metres of wood and money taken from my account on 23 November 2019. Said they would deliver a week later and I called in the morning to confirm and they said the wood would be delivered in the afternoon. Nothing was delivered. Called the next day and they said they could deliver in a few days due to a broken van. Agreed it was best to cancel the order and they said they'd refund my 195. Two weeks later I've not been refunded and cannot make contact with them. Complete bunch of shites and dishonest ones too. AVOID.

Good quality hardwood logs that burn for a long time. Excellent value for money.

I can't fault the quality of the logs, but the quality of the customer service at Newman farms leaves a lot to the imagination. I placed an order for 1 cubic metre of logs a week and a half ago. After a few days of my order showing as processing on their website, I thought I should call them to arrange delivery. I called their office line every day, every day getting the same message that no one is in the office. I finally got through to a real person on Friday afternoon by calling a mobile number, at which point they assured me they would call me on Monday to arrange delivery. After no call on Monday I called and left my name and number hoping for a call back the next day. The next day and I've had a load of logs dumped on my neighbours drive that I need to try and move before they get home from work. All of this would have been much smoother if they had someone answering their phones.
