The gate to the Church is now locked permanently. To visit the Church you need to go through Manor Farm where there is a charge (fee)

Formerly called All Saints this 13th century Norman Church was once the main church of the village of Botley. But the village grew and moved further away from the church. In 1836 a new All Saints Church was built and this church was rededicated to St Bartholomew. A tree severely damaged St Bartholomew and instead of rebuilding the church all the damage was removed and a new wall built turning the church into a small chapel that you can see today. Well worth a visit to this quaint little chapel. It is open to visitors during daylight hours.
