Could have been great Im guessing the owners have been providing the local community Fish & Chips for decades. The shops is like a time warp. For 1.40 the small chips provided very good value, freshly cooked as I waited too. Alas, they were not cooked throughly. Only the smallest bits of potato were fluffy on the inside, some larger chips were not just very firm they had a crunch in the middle. The can of Diet Coke was use by December 2022. I visited on 7th April 2023! I believe they may run this more as a hobby now as the shop is not open often, but I had hoped it would be a real gem locally - Ill give them one more try in a week to see but I otherwise will have to say its 2 stars for now.

A great traditional fish and chip shop. It can't be beaten.

Great fish and chips , The Flavours are unbelievable and lovely white fish , Prices are very reasonable compared to other fish shops , Been going for years , A hidden gem .
