The response was immediate and we were kept regularly updated during the build process. Despite hitting supply chain problems as a result of COVID restrictions etc. the mixer was delivered within the estimated lead time given.
It is rare that a company will persevere and "go the extra mile " AND in such difficult times.

Fast forward over a week, still nothing has been sorted about a refund. I try ringing.....several times....and get nowhere.
Finally I get to speak to one of the Directors, who allegedly 'knows nothing' about the refund.
I get a call from the engineer later that day to say that the refund will be made on Feb 7, it can't be done before then as it's the next 'payment run'. We all know that's a great excuse to delay payment.
We email to ensure that the refund goes ahead on the agreed date. No response.
I ring on the 7th and ask for accounts, a very helpful lady who says she knows nothing about the refund being agreed for payment on the 7th. She's the first person Ive spoken to who I actually believe, and she promises to look into it.
The refund finally happens on 11th Feb, nearly SIX MONTHS after the order was placed. This company has set us back months, costing us time and money.
We've had zero in the way of apology, from anyone other than the engineer, a perfectly reasonable chap but my guess is he's accountable to the powers above him.
Nothing from the Directors and owners, who I can only assume really don't care that much. My advice is DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Or if you choose to, don't pay them a penny until you are 100% satisfied.
