Don't bother if you need to be anywhere. Waiting in a queue while one member of staff is covering the post office and shop . So slow

I was in today to pick up a few things for work. There was a queue. An old man accidentally jumped the queue and the off-duty staff member behind me (she was waiting for the post office) started being very rude about him, effing and carrying on. Rather than just serve the elderly man, the post office staff made him go to the end of the queue. He was very apologetic and quite embarrassed. It could have been a moment of kindness, but it certainly wasn't.
