The dcor is warm and inviting, the drinks were lovely, and the bread to start with was also very nice.
We ordered the six course tasting menu and apart from my main course the rest was very poor. It was so poor in fact that my wife and I asked to leave 3 courses in. I also felt the waitress was rather rude as I had explained I was not happy with the food, or waiting over one hour and thirsty minute to receive a plate of food that consisted of little more than a peace of bread and 50ml of an onion broth that tasted more like red wine than soup.
Nether the less I was prepared to give the main course a try after I felt the waitress was more angry with my request to leave than I was to try the main course so I threw caution to the wind and as she said it would only be five minutes so we decided to wait.
After ten minutes I asked a different waitress to get my bill for me, at which point the waitress presented our main course saying to us would you like us to put them in the bin?
In full honesty my main course was very nice, not amazing, but my wife who is a Pescetarianism was given a cauliflower dish (see my picture) that you could only call slop! Im sure there are dishes that are very nice at Cora but if you are going to do a tasting menu and charge a 100+ you need to get it right and this is far, far from done right. We was left left feeling disappointed, ripped off,and even had to get a takeaway from the local Italian for my wife to replace the appalling cauliflower main course.
