Had a lovely experience with their 6pm deal. we had two glasses of wine for 6 and the snacks were so tasty that we ended up stopping for dinner. lovely chatting with the restaurant staff and the chef even came out and brought some dishes to us

Have been numerous times now and always really enjoyed it. Such good value for money for fine dining too. Really looking forward to trying the dine@home boxes

Had a lovely lunch with hubby at Cora. The interior was designed with low-key yet casual vibe. Tried the 3-course menu and each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients & attention to details. Will definitely come again!

I really don't like leaving negative reviews as I review often and am a big believer in supporting local business, This is our own personal experience of the venue and while reading other customers reviews there really is a mixed bag of opinions on the food and staff, personally my wife and I found Cora to be all fur-coat and no knickers! The dcor is warm and inviting, the drinks were lovely, and the bread to start with was also very nice. We ordered the six course tasting menu and apart from my main course the rest was very poor. It was so poor in fact that my wife and I asked to leave 3 courses in. I also felt the waitress was rather rude as I had explained I was not happy with the food, or waiting over one hour and thirsty minute to receive a plate of food that consisted of little more than a peace of bread and 50ml of an onion broth that tasted more like red wine than soup. Nether the less I was prepared to give the main course a try after I felt the waitress was more angry with my request to leave than I was to try the main course so I threw caution to the wind and as she said it would only be five minutes so we decided to wait. After ten minutes I asked a different waitress to get my bill for me, at which point the waitress presented our main course saying to us would you like us to put them in the bin? In full honesty my main course was very nice, not amazing, but my wife who is a Pescetarianism was given a cauliflower dish (see my picture) that you could only call slop! Im sure there are dishes that are very nice at Cora but if you are going to do a tasting menu and charge a 100+ you need to get it right and this is far, far from done right. We was left left feeling disappointed, ripped off,and even had to get a takeaway from the local Italian for my wife to replace the appalling cauliflower main course.
