I paid in advance for a rental car in Budget/Avis to take it in Calama Airport (Chile). They canceled my reservation, rented my car for another person , said (10:15 pm) there were no more cars available and refused to refund my money. What it means? Means Budget/Avis gained twice for same car !!! It's an absurd !! I had to pay a very expensive transfer to San Pedro de Atacama because the airport(and all its services) closes at 11 pm and I was freezing, because They dont have heating . After the incident, I tried several times contact Holiday Cars to keep my reservation , but the number of telephone informed was WRONG So, I sent several emails to them but They informed that Will not refund my money. Well, if You are looking for a website to rent your car to next vacation in Atacama Desert run away from Holiday Cars and also Budget/Avis in Calama.

Terrible company. Booking site does not tell you anything about humongous deposit that you have to pay upon collection. You only can find out about it when youve already booked the car and basically lost whatever money youvw paid for their deposit not the car hire company which you also have to pay a deposit to which again is not mentioned anywhere beforw booking the car. Stay away!!!!!
