        The team at the bakery are the nicest people you will ever meet and the service is fantastic. Every year we buy mince pies for our clients, which go down a storm. They are simply the best mince pie ever made. Freshly baked and stuffed full. Highly recommended this fabulous professional team.

        Bought a Farmhouse Light Fruitcake for 6.95 from Southbourne Farm Shop believing it would be really delicious but it's dry and very sugary and breaks into crumbs when I cut it so you have to eat it with a spoon, which is not what I want when sharing with friends. There's plenty of sultanas, but I can't see any other fruit. It has a pleasant taste but a bit sweet, so for me it is really not worth nearly 7!! An expensive disappointment.

        For the last three years I have been buying my mince pies from Farmhouse Cookery. In my experience they are the best I have ever tasted. So much so, I now buy a box of six for eight of my neighbours as a Christmas present. I have now discovered their wonderful Pavlova base which is equally as excellent. Sandy Bell
