        Terrible management. My mum booked a meal for our family on boxing day, she spoke to Elaine twice to confirm the booking and was reassuredon both occasions the meal was booked. We arrived on Boxing Day to be told the pub were not serving food! Elaine was uncontactable! Myself and my husband had travelled 92 miles and the rest of my family had travelled 50 miles to meet for a country pub boxing day get together, so needless to say we were extremely frustrated and upset by such poor customer service and that such incompetence had ruined our family boxing day get together. Little explanation was given as to why we had not been contacted before travelling so far. We were told that Elaine and her husband are retiring in Jan 2023, but it appears they have already retired!
