Matt Weston Drum Tuition

My son Luke has now been with Matt for around 4 years, and it has been pleasing to see the level that Matt has guided him to. This includes 4 grades and 3 of them being a distinction. Matt is a great drummer and equally a great teacher of drums. In addition, he is excellent at explaining musical theory in simple and basic terms. Most importantly, Luke enjoys the lessons, and this is largely down to Matt making them fun. Luke has enjoyed the journey he is currently on with Matt and I would not hesitate to recommend Matt.

My son started learning drums with Matt when he was eight years old. Five years later my son is now working towards his Grade 5 exam. He looks forward to his lesson each week and Matt makes learning drums fun but also pushes him to make sure that he develops. The lessons takes place in a great studio with a dedicated student drum kit and a comfy seat for parents. I really can't reccomend Matt highly enough.

Matt Weston is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and works hard to help his pupils. We have been very happy with the work he has undertaken with our child.

Matt has been a fantastic drum teacher for my son. His lessons in the studio are fun and mixes up each week. Currently working towards grades. Would definitely recommend Matt if you are looking to learn the drums.

My son has been having lessons with Matt for the past 4 years. He started as a complete beginner and is now working towards Grade 4. He has made great progress and thoroughly enjoys each and every lesson. Matt is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher and my son finds it very easy to learn from him. The studio setup is ideal, with 2 complete drum kits enabling Matt to give practical demonstrations and guidance to his students as they play. Would highly recommend Matt.
