Blackmoor Golf Club

Lovely golf course tucked away below Bordon in North Hampshire. The course drains really well so even in wet weather over the winter it is one of a few still open. The greens are beautiful and can run quite fast when there is a competition on. The fairways are lush with heather as thick rough for your ball to get lost in if you veer off course. The heather makes the course look really beautiful in the summer. The course is a par 69 with two par 5s and five par 3s. The layout does criss cross so it is easy to go to the wrong Tee especially after the 4th, 6th and 13th tees. The course is pretty flat so is an easy carry or even easier walk with a cart.

Great course. New driving range. Club house has been considerably modernised and offers a lovely bar and restaurant area - ideal for members, visitors, competitons and societies. The course is undergoing extensive improvements to the bunkers, which is being done in 3 phases during each of the winter periods. This should pose a greater challenger to all golfers and favour the straight hitters! A Harry Colt classic and one of the best.
