I had a very shabby small antique desk that had woodworm, had seen better days and was stored in a garage for 10 years due to concerns about woodworm spreading within the house. When I asked John to look at it I really had low expectations of what could be done. He took it away and a few weeks later I have it returned and what a difference! He has done so much more than I expected - even down to replacing the glass ink bottles that I'd never seen before on the desk. The desk had been my great grandfathers, then my mothers, and then mine. A family piece that has huge emotional value. Thank you.
