Hengist Field Care Centre

Worked here ten years ago and again last year for a few months. I have a wealth of experience and qualified in health and social. Full of agency staff who cannot speak English so unable to communicate with residents. Over 10 deaths in 4 months, most were unexpected and avoidable. Staff dont have enough time or support from management to care for residents properly so many residents are unfortunately neglected. Staff suffering from depression and ptsd because everyone has to cut corners to keep up. Lady found dead on her front because she was left that way and unable to turn herself. Colostomy bags constantly exploding. Turns not completed. People who can use toilets encouraged to use a pad as staff dont have the time to take them. Nellsar is a terrible company and no one who works there would ever put someone they love in there.

Absolutely wonderful care home! Staff are hardworking, Nothing is ever a problem. If you have any concerns thay are delt with very quickly. Food is delicious! And there summer party's are the best!.. Set in the countryside rolling fields and plenty of wildlife for a view. I Would definitely recommend Hengistfield care centre.!

Absolute useless. Very unprofessional can never get though on phone and never gets back to you and no replies to email. Great when they want money off you though its such a shame how attitude changes when money is involved. Not impressed and would not house my relatives here.
