Just had a weekend at Eskmeals to celebrate joint 50th and 90th birthdays. What a wonderful house, full of character and history. Yvonne the host is really welcoming and is happy to answer all your questions about the houses past. The accommodation comfortably fit 14 of us, with several beds to spare. The huge square dining table meant we could enjoy eating together because we could all see each other. If you want a weekend away from it all, this is the place.

Our family has returned from spending Easter week at Eskmeals House. We had an amazing time. The house & garden comfortably accommodated 18 adults, 4 toddlers & a dog. The house was clean, spacious, well equipped & very comfortable without being "precious". There was enough garden furniture for a family bbq and Sunday roast. The garden was safe for toddlers and dog. The location was perfect for exploring the lakes & the coast. Yvonne was a welcoming and helpful host. Thank you Yvonne. We would have no hesitation in recommending Eskmeals House for large parties visiting this beautiful part of the world.

We had a great weekend with friends for a special birthday. There were 15 adults and 2 children and we were very comfortable indeed. Plenty of room to sleep, eat, wash, cook, play....everything. The coal fires really added extra atmosphere and warmth, of course. It wasn't difficult to find the house. In the vicinity there's beautiful Eskmoels beach, interesting and pretty Ravenglass, and Seascale a bit further, another amazing beach. I wasn't the host and didn't meet the owner, but from my point of view everything was managed very well.
