Firstly, Id like to say the tailoring aspect of the business is second to none. Ive had a variety of garment and been really happy with them (side saddle habit, show jacket, waistcoats etc. However I purchase a leather saddle bag in 2020. Due to covid it never got used. So I stored it along side other leather good. All individually covered etc. I finally took it out this week. Baring in mind as a result of what I found I check all my other leather goods and they were all in immaculate condition as when I stored thembut the saddle bag was a different story. The leather was still in immaculate condition but the brass rivets had essentially disintegrated to the point I could with light pressure pull of all the straps!!! I immediately took it to a local saddler who was as shocked as I was all 4 rivets had completely disintegrated??? But the leather was the same as if Id brought it.
