Damien Thorpe Painting & Decorating

In a way I'm reticent to write this review, because the more work Damien gets the longer I'll have to wait for the next job! Damien is absolutely first class. As a perfectionist I'm not a particularly easy customer to please at the best of times, but he is simply brilliant at what he does. He is honest, punctual, tidy and pays meticulous attention to detail. His paintwork is excellent: I cannot find fault with it. Damien's preparatory work is also excellent. He ensured that the surfaces were sanded smooth and ready for painting, and even replaced our cracked caulk. He goes above and beyond what I would have expected. And in all of this, his prices are very fair. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I can't recommend Damien enough, he repainted our whole downstairs, including hall, stairs and landing, all skirting boards, doors and ceilings in only a couple of weeks - often working late to meet our tight timescale and fit in with other tradesmen. The work also included wallpapering in 2 rooms. The quality of the work is fantastic - our builder commented on how brilliant it was and asked for Damien's details to recommend to his other clients. We are so pleased with the finish and absolutely won't hesitate to contact Damien again for future decorating!
