        We ordered a Victoria sponge at short notice yesterday. We had it for a bbq finally and it was delicious. Many thanks. We would highly recommend CL Pearce & Sons. Great service and price.

        A real English old style bakery! What more to say? I think everyone in the village loves this bakery and probably people from other towns come to get their old school cakes and pastries, Bakewell tarts, fruit cakes and buns, all types of bread and pasties, veggie and sausage rolls and a variety of homemade sandwiches are available. Prices are lower than anywhere else around and you get so much more filling for your dosh! Service with a joke and banter from all servers cant fault them aside from closing too early coz everyone loves it and they run out of goodies!
