Monika is great, really personable and doesn't bat an eyelid to your experience level. As a complete beginner I've enjoyed her one to ones and have definitely seen an improvement to my back pain.

As we have been participating in Pilates sessions for about 9 years it was important for us to find the right teacher near our new home. Our daughter had been to local classes before her pregnancies and she told us of Monika and the 2:1 classes she ran. Obviously we were somewhat apprehensive with a new teacher but Monika is very knowledgeable and was soon aware of our strengths and weaknesses in our 75 and 82 year old bodies! She soon put us at our ease! Under Monika's guidance we are encouraged to challenge ourselves in a safe environment and have both found that we are more flexible with fewer aches and pains. The exercises are varied and enjoyable and we both feel invigorated after the sessions!

Ive been seeing Monika for one to ones for 6 months now. Her classes are varied and fun, the time flies by and I always leave feeling energised and ready for the day. She explains the techniques so well and you always want to do that just one more exercise willingly! Id highly recommend to anyone experienced or new to Pilates, she tailors to suit your individual needs and niggles.

I was struggling to commit to a regular and consistent form of strengthening to complement my running but I have now been having Reformer sessions with Monika weekly for over 6 months. I had foot pain that despite good treatment and self-management I couldn't quite shift. I was impressed with Monika's knowledge and passion so decided to try her Reformer. I love that every movement targets a specific area but also challenges multiple areas at the same time. I have to concentrate and be present otherwise the control and coordination falls apart. I was concerned about being malco-ordinated with the reformer carriage and straps but Monika talks me expertly through each step, she is reassuring and adapts as needed. My foot pain has fully settled, my endurance with running on the trails has improved and I feel more toned. If I am sluggish at the start of a session I always leave energised. Yes, my muscles shake with fatigue on some of the reps and I can feel it the next day but it is such a positive sign of a good efficient and enjoyable workout that it is so satisfying I am completely hooked! I usually have 1:1 but I have had 'duet' sessions with my husband or fellow runners which adds to the enjoyment. I cannot recommend this highly enough for anybody wanting to build healthier routines in to their week. Thank you Monika!
