Very wide selection of food and drink for a village shop. Also does various items you can buy using your own containers. Service excellent and very friendly indeed.

The store has a solid selection of essentials to avoid a trip to a larger supermarket but has an ever-developing range of wonderful local products from great suppliers such as Thronbridge, Peak District Dairy, Jackson's Bakery and Holloway Butchers. The real jewel in the crown however, is the small but well-stocked, waste-free refill store where you can fill your own containers with dried goods, cleaning products, soaps, shower-gels and shampoos.
