Guy Porteous - The Cheshire Pianist

We had Guy play at our wedding at the Deanwater on Saturday. He was set up and playing for when we arrived outside as the weather was nice, and then he played through our meal indoors. It was a great addition to add atmosphere at the wedding, everyone loved the music and even had a sing along to some of the songs. The white piano was a great addition for during the meal.

I just wanted everyone to know how much of an exceptional service Guy provided at our amazing wedding last week. I asked him to play for us outside at the wonderful Eaves Hall for my wedding ceremony and drinks reception. He was wonderful he made the groomsmen feel real axed whilst the waited for me. He contacted me numerous times before the day to ask me just what I wanted and filled me with music ideas that I was so stuck with. Guy even learnt a brand new song for me to walk down the aisle to and I couldnt have been happier. Nothing was too much to ask. I couldnt recommend Guy enough what a lovely friendly man and everyone was singing his praises long after he left. Dont waste time hesitating get him booked!

Guy played at our wedding at Thornton Manor on 31.07.2021. From start to finish Guy was the perfect mixture of professional and friendly. We had a zoom call during lockdown to discuss the sorts of songs we would like him to play at our drinks reception and during our meal, to say we came off the call excited is an understatement. We are huge lovers of musicals, soft Jazz and the classics, nothing was too much and we covered all genres. Our guests were on their feet, napkins twirling and people swaying! What a day! We had the best day and we were so glad we had Guy as a part of it! We could not recommend him highly enough! Hannah and Joe x

Guy created an ethereal atmosphere at my daughter's recent wedding at Arley Hall with his expressive piano playing. Couldn't thank him enough.

Guy played at our wedding at The Inn at Whitewell and he was absolutely fantastic; our guests absolutely loved him! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating in the lead up to the wedding too which takes away the planning stress. We couldn't recommend Guy enough!
