        Plenty to see here on steaming days. Plenty of information boards explain the exhibits, but if you still have any questions there are friendly, knowledgeable volunteers on hand.

        What a wonderful experience , history in motion visited Mid week Wednesday 11 am met with several volunteers with much knowledge about Bolton,s past contribution to the industrial revolution , this museum is kept running by many retired Engineers, and other steam enthusiast, open on Wednesday and Sunday, free entry , has some open days throughout the year with full steam in operation and cafe ,toilets and lift to upper level A credit to the volunteers, credit to all involved . Best part of Bolton free parking, access friendly on the site of Morrisons supermarket.
