Safiya's Retreat

My recent visit to this spa left me greatly disappointed. Despite high expectations, I found the overall experience to be subpar, falling far short of the standards set by my usual spa, Nini Spa. The staff were adequate, but not particularly friendly, and the tense atmosphere in the salon did little to put me at ease. I was unimpressed with the quality of the treatments, which felt rushed and poorly executed. Even more disappointing was the therapist's admission that the "pamper" treatments were little more than tasters. The room was also in dire need of renovation, with tatty furnishings and a faux leather bed that was damaged under the towels. The lack of hygiene in this regard was concerning. One puzzling aspect of my experience was the payment process. While I was able to pay my deposit by card, the salon did not accept card payments for the rest of the balance. Additionally, I was not provided with a receipt for my payment. When I asked for one, the staff informed me that they do not give receipts for cash payments. I found this to be highly unusual and unprofessional. All in all, I do not recommend this spa. While the price may be low, the quality of the experience is equally low. I will not be returning.

When I went in to enquire which treatment they would recommend, the lady behind the front desk was very rude to my face and told me she was too busy to talk to me at that moment. Not a great first impression of the place. A much improved customer service needed.

Mona was my therapist and OMG I loved her. Im 31 weeks pregnant and she gave me the best massage and relaxation in a short period of time. I would highly recommend. Her voice itself was a therapy tbh, so soft and delicate. Enjoyed every second of my massage.

I cannot emphasise how comfortable these girls make you! The minute I walked in they greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us around, they gave us an induction to the spa and how to use equipment. The spa was clean and smelt so lovely! We then had full body massages which personally I was really nervous for but she listened to my needs and recommended the perfect treatment, I wish I got her name but she was amazing! I have never felt so relaxed. Genuinely felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after that massage! This place is amazing and the girls there will genuinely make your time at the spa so lovely! It was the perfect pre wedding gift. Thank you soo much for everything! Will definitely be back!
