Thought we'd hire the function room for a 60th the other weekend as the beers usually cheap and they usually have good deals on. We paid a deposit of 50 which they said we'd get back if nothing was broken. Half way through the night the staff had us sweeping up which I understood as there were quite a few kids there so was a bit messy so I swept it all into a pile but they had nothing to pick it up with. Furthermore they then turned around to us and said we weren't getting our deposit back because they had to pay for a cleaner now as someone who's lived in pubs before I understand it can become a mess during parties but cleaning up the day after is part of the job so for them to charge us for that is ridiculous, especially after they had us sweeping up throughout the night. Furthermore we'd also be waiting about 10 minuites to get served, not because it was buzy but because they were just chatting and play fighting behind the bar like a bunch of kids, taking no notice.
Never again will we be hiring here again. Absolute joke
