I dont think the nursery does enough to settle and look after children. Seems like they find it a hassle to look after kids who may have not been in this kind of environment before. Reception is better. Although you do have stay on top of your kids education. If you dont bother then the teachers dont bother. At least they prepared weekly tasks for the kids. Year one is a bit meh. I know its a predominately white school. But all children should be treated equally. That means greeting all children equally and not ignoring them. Recognising ALL talents. I do find lack of work being given/ pupil progress shared with parents lacking.
