Be very careful when using any landscaping firm. Please insist on written quote on letter headed paper prior to any work being completed. Make sure it states the time scale expected and what work will be completed at what cost. If they are charging VAT, ask for a Vat Receipt. Don't pay up front even for materials. Any creditable business will have 30 days Credit with a regular supplier, so please don't be pressured into paying for materials before the job starts on the "I need the money for materials conversation" they should have 30 days to pay for materials ordered for your job Make sure you are in front of your payments in the work expected, pay with credit card or cheques where possible and hold 10% back at the end until the work is completed to your satisfaction. Ensure that you get a written warranty for all work stating which materials have been used and one that covers all aspects of any work completed. This applies all firms that you don't have a personal history with and is sound general advice on employing contractors. Be aware friendly people are not necessarily friends

Pete and his team did our driveway last year and we were really impressed with his workmanship. Friendly, professional, punctual and very tidy I really would recommend him.

Used newage paving on a couple of occasions and cannot thank Pete enough for the fantastic job he has done, he totally transformed our garden. Highly recommended

I am Mr Burns Legal Advocate. I wish to inform people reading reviews on here particularly the one from Mr.Heath Christian that this has been posted through vindictive reasons. We had to put Mr Christian into court for not paying his account. Mr Christian put in a counter claim which was thrown out in the Manchester Justice Centre and Mr Burns was awarded over 1900:00 in full settlement. Please be aware this matter has now been reported to the Police and Mr Burns will now go back to court seeking damages to protect his good name which hes built up over 30years. Other false reviews from Mr Christian have been put up on Facebook and Thompsons Local under the false name of Mr Christian Potts all of which have been screen shot as evidence. Pete did our garden for us about 18 years ago and it still looks perfect today! He raised our lawn and did all the patio to a design which I created. He has since been back and extended for us after we moved our fence out. Would highly recommend
