Forty years ago, I played and trained in Walsh footwear. The fit and quality were unrivaled. Ive just received my latest pair from them and Id forgotten just how fantastic their products are.

Is it normal for your trainers to wear through after seven months' hard walking (about an hour a day)? My sole has separated from the last and a split has appeared. They are as good as dead. Also, I haven't had much response from the company, although I did receive an email from them where they blamed me for admitting to walking hard in them. I do admit that I have done a lot of walking in them. Maybe I should just refrain from walking so much in the future. Never mind, I'll buy from another company next time. I don't recommend Salomon, as they started to wear out after just four months. Made in Vietnam. I don't know which company to choose next time. I'd like to buy British, but if this is the best I can find, then I better choose a Spanish or Italian brand or maybe Portuguese. Disappointed to say the least.

Fantastic Company, brilliant product made in England and fantastic service.. my trainers that were purchased 12 months ago showed some sole wear. This wasn't a complaint as they were worn. I returned my trainers and a new sole was added and returned to me. Just bought a second pair. I cannot recommend enough. Thanks Norman Walsh.
