Sharp practitioners in my experience and, in my instance, did not act in good faith. They cover the costs of a consultation with a consultant and so I made a claim after seeing an orthopaedic surgeon, however, they refused it because I didnt supply a referral letter with the invoice (I saw a GP, picked a consultant and self referred, paid said consultant then claimed the fee). I then got them a referral letter as they denied the claim to my disbelief. The referral was dated after the consultation so they denied the claim again. They wont pay me for a genuine claim. Further, they do not care that you are unhappy with the service and so I can only conclude that customer service does not register on their list of priorities.

Disorganised, incompetent and unreliable. Claims are declined as standard process and then there is a lengthy procedure to convince them that a health practitioner is indeed registered. Not worth the money / effort. Operating on the principle that you will end up paying more / receive less benefits.
