        My daughter and I were in the shop a few days ago, and the lady behind the cash till kept watching us like a hawk as we were looking around the shop. Was very uncomfortable and absolutely unnecessary to be watched like that! We are from a minority ethnic background, so I can't help but think that this lady's approach to treat so suspiciously had something to do with our race, and her own racial prejudice or stereotypes that she may have about people of certain races/nationalities. But I can absolutely confirm that the way she kept watching our every move as we were looking around the shop was very unnecessary and wrong. And the look of surprise she had when we brought our items to the till to pay for them. All visible ethnic minority customers pay close attention to how the shop assistants here behave towards you when you go in! I have a strong feeling we are not the only BAME customers she has done this to!
