We would thoroughly recommend Jo Newton Garden Design & Consultancy. Jo came during some awful weather last year to measure up and really listened to what we wanted. She designed a beautiful cottage garden and her recommended plants came with information about how they would grow and where we could buy them from. Following work by a landscape company, we had the pleasure of sourcing and planting up the garden. Jo had encouraged me to save many of the plants from the old garden before it was cleared so we had many of our original plants to plant back in, giving a feeling of continuity and saving on the cost. I would definitely recommend Jo. I needed advice on how to manage a great but overcrowded garden; Jo spent a long time looking at all the shrubs and trees, advising on how and when to prune them & suggesting which ones could be replaced with something else that would provide more colour. She then followed this up with a detailed report and links to suppliers of the plants we had discussed.

Jo has done a fantastic job taking care of our gardens for a number of years, she has really good knowledge of plants, garden design & maintenance. Jo has designed & planted beds, replaced plants with more appropriate ones in others and made sure that shrubs are pruned at the right times (whereas I would no doubt have killed them). I'd recommend Jo without hesitation.

My sad looking front garden is now Blooming!! Having no knowledge of where plants thrive I had already wrongly planted some in either too much sun or shade. I contacted Jo and was happy with her response which was what I wanted without trying to influence me against what I wanted rather she just guided and offered her advice. The work is completed as I had expected. No issues at all Jo has done a fabulous job and we are very pleased with the result and service. I would d definitely recommend Jo for a make over or her knowledge and expertise. Ruth
