I would like to leave a review for Niaomi the practice nurse. I have been to see her on 3 occasions over the past 2 weeks and each time she has performed my checks, taking bloods and my ecg in the most professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her friendly reassuring approach made it so much easier to talk about my problems. A real credit to the surgery. Best I've seen.

20 years ago Dr Faulkner told me I had IBS without first testing for other causes. Yet on my file it is listed as "suspected IBS" so not formally diagnosed despite being told it was. You cannot diagnose IBS without ruling out other issues. Celiac runs in my family, but it could also be IBD. So been possibly living with either of these untreated for 20 years. Also refused my Right to Choose for ADHD diagnosis (details of which are below, as this was my first reason for the negative review), and had to go private and turns out I do in fact have ADHD. Also failed my Mother in multiple ways, who has now died unexpectedly this year ----- FINAL EDIT: P-UK got in touch personally with Dr Faulkner (only contact they could find) and were ignored. They don't wish to help at all so I'll be switching GP. EDIT: Responded to my letter, basically saying they do not have funding for Bolton, when P-UK have the authority of NHS England that any NHS England patient is eligible for treatment with them under the Right to Choose. I'm now having to follow up. Also, what health centre does not have a way of contacting them online? ----- Really disappointed. Sent a letter to ask to be referred to a specialist (under my Right to Choose) to see if I potentially have ADHD and have had no follow up almost a month later. I'm sure my letter, sent by Signed for Delivery and received, was ignored or thrown away, despite me taking the time to write it and filled in forms which could indicate that I have it and I should be referred. Can't get into the clinic to see someone and ask (though I sent a letter so I'd have some evidence of it). No one has sent a letter or called me. This year has has been extra difficult for me and was hoping I could figure it out so I could get possibly CBT (therapy) to manage it but the clinic do not wish to help. Happy to speak to someone on the phone if they phone me about it, but last time I called about another issue they didn't even know what had happened.

AVOID AVOID AVOID If I could gove zero stars I would, this has taken a while for me to write. Been with the surgery since birth never changed from the area I live in. I had literally just had a baby and within the first week of giving birth contacted the surgery to register him. Not only was I told this wasn't possible due to my area I was then told I was to find another doctor as I was also out the area due to changes within area restrictions. I explained I had just given birth and had been with them myself for over 30 years to which I was told well I'm sure you will find another doctor, I also explained my concerns over my new babies vaccinations and also his health check an my own, I was told we will send all details over but it can take 8 weeks. I was mortified in tears and emotions all over the place to which I was met with a cold non helpful response an one point a laugh, I didn't find this a funny situation at all I was in a vulnerable position and then had to find myself an my newborn baby a doctor. Also my eldest son was registered with this surgery but at no point was it mentioned he had to be removed it made no sense! I Pleaded to stay with the surgery as I felt comfortable with to be met with we have already removed you whilst on the phone I suggest you find somewhere else. Absolutely disgusting. I removed my eldest son from them as I do not want him to have to deal with surgery and reception staff who work within it. I also accept surgeries have to adhere to changes of area etc but I do not accept how it was dealt with and how I left after just having a baby the most vulnerable position a women could be in! I am so glad I found elsewhere who immediately arranged checks for my baby an myself an ensured all vaccinations where taken care of.

Literally cannot fault this place. Been here since I was a child. They've been so supportive, even through Covid. Superb service and my husband and I have always been able to at least talk to someone if we've needed reassurance. We're so grateful.
