Very rude male server who seemed to be in charge. Pointing finger and jabbing in air to ask individually if we wanted sugar in our tea. After paying we were told (ordered) to wait outside and it would be taken out to us. After waiting more than 10 minutes, I went in to ask for our teas to be reminded that he would take it out when he had time. After asking how much longer it would be he said he didnt know because he was busy. We asked to cancel and get a refund which was duly slapped down on the counter. Worst passive/aggressive service I have ever experienced. We wont use their establishment ever again!

If your in Bolton, be sure to drop by the Market. Particularly Unsworths. A delightful little stall, and you can smell the breads before you're even stood at the counter. I'm informed the breads are bake by an artisan baker in neighbouring Manchester, and they certainly look like they been created with love. There are a a range of cheeses to chose from, and of course some local to the region, and a rather inviting range of pies to choose from as well. Unsworth make a number of products themselves e.g. Eccles cake and Flapjacks, scones etc. Albeit, a fly by visit, I was tempted to try one of the flapjacks. At 1.50 a piece, this had to deliver to justify the cost....and it did. It was superb. Moist, held well together with a generous amount of fruit throughout, making it naturally sweet. Everything you've ever wanted a Flapjack to be was packed in this little guy. So, one item for now, but I have no doubt anything from this stall will deliver on its promise. Highly recommend dropping by.
